Note: It will not work with the free headset, that comes with the Xbox One. So I replied back saying that, and get a reply to their FAQs, which I had already read and says it not possible. But do you really think that the component to VGA cable could really work? I'll try and ask someone I know if they may have a spare one before I make a purchase to see if it'll work, but please keep me posted if you have any further recommendations.I contact support asking how to do this, and I got a reply with 2 Youtube links (1 was for an Xbox 360 and the other asking how to do what I wanted to do on the Xbox One). Theres no dedicated audio port on the XBOX 360 as far as I'm concerned, I think the only way to get audio while connected to HDMI is by plugging in one of these ( ) then I could get audio feed to my headphones. Yea the HDMI on the TV does work, I used it on my XBOX a few times before I went to the small monitor. The monitor idea is also good, but borrow one first, again to test before buy another computer product you don't needįor Audio, isn't there a headset connection on every Xbox? Thanksįirst thing you you want to TRY is the HDMI on your family TV. Will this setup work?Īgain the setup will have XBOX Component -> RGC HD PRO (video n audio in) ->Component to VGA cable to monitor + rca red and white to female jack (it gets plugged in before the audio from the Component to VGA) If this does work, and someone can verify for me, what cables do you recommend i get in order to still have good quality on my monitor? If there is a similar setup using HDMI cables too plz let me know. ![]() Would the RGC HD Pro allow me to capture gameplay/stream using an XBOX Component cable for the video input ports, and to use a Component to VGA cable ( )įor a video output source to be able to play on my monitor? And incase of sound, I have one of those Red and White to 3.5 female jack cable that comes with the Turtle Beach X12's ( female 3.5mm) to get sound. Now here is where the problem is, the RGC HD PRO only accepts component and HDMI source, my monitor again is VGA and DVI, and I've been trying to experiment with this setup, and I was hoping if someone can please verify (if you've tried or had similar thinking) that this may work before i make a purchase for the necessary wiring. The monitor is a "Dell E228WFP 22-inch Widescreen LCD Monitor," ( e228wfpc)Īnd like I've stated before it has a VGI connector in the back, as well as a DVI port. I have an XBOX 360 Elite hooked up to a desktop monitor that I don't use anymore, through the VGA cable that Microsoft sells to be able to connect the console to the monitor. ![]() I wanna set it up so I can begin recording gameplay and hopefully begin streaming on my Twitch.Tv account soon, but I have a problem. Anyways, I recently purchased a Roxio Game Capture HD PRO, and it has arrived and have it at hand. Wassup, I'm new on here so I apologize if I don't present myself accordingly.
